Well I hope everybody is okay. My morning was upset yesterday by that rent a truck terrorist in New York. Instead of political snark, the news was all about him, and what is there to say really? Well Cheeto had plenty to say, it was all Chuck Schumer's fault. I guess Hilary was sunning herself, in the red hot caves of hell surely.
He went on to trash the justice department. Well he has been giving Sessions a pass of late, why not dump on him, and then when the vile press asked her about that Sarah said he never said that. CNN loves a shooting like lawyers love an ambulance but when they finally had enough of that story, they began showing the Trump and the Sarah clips back to back, and they went on and on about that, which okay this was a pretty egregious case of blatant lying, but, you know, it happens all the time.
And you know an odd thing about these one man terrorist incidents, they always require a press conference which doesn't reveal anything you haven't heard already, but gives the cops a chance to say how brave they are protecting us. See that's a thing, that's one of the things Trump's always bellying up about, how he wants to bully others to protect us.
But you know shit happens. Car wrecks, storms, winter, Las Vegas, happens all the time, always has. always has, always will. There is really nothing to do to stop it. I don't fault these guys for not protecting us, but taking advantage of an incident where they didn't protect us to tell us how they are going to protect us is too much.
A bit of a rant, but you guys didn't give me anything to chew on this morning,
Janet creates a big problem for Michael; Eleanor lets Chidi in on a secret; Jason puts Tahani in a difficult position.
This means nothing to me but I will be tuning in at 7:30 tonight to see if I can figure it out.
