Why Face Book Blocked the Declaration

Awhile back I reported that the Face Book machine blocked the Declaration of Independence as "hate speech", although human intervention quickly unblocked it.  After thinking about it for awhile, I seemed to remember that there was something in there about "savages", which likely was the word that triggered the machine's alarm system.  I looked it up the other day and, sure enough, it was in there, the last item in a long list of grievances against King George.  Of course political correctness hadn't been invented yet in those days, a fact that somebody neglected to program into the machine.

"He has excited domestic Insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the Inhabitants of our Frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known Rule of Warfare, is an undistinguished Destruction of all Ages, Sexes, and Conditions."

Speaking of political correctness, I don't suppose those poor coolies in Red China can do anything about their government's Social Credit scheme, but the foreign businesses and nations that are affected by it could easily evade its consequences by refusing to do business with Red China.  Of course they didn't listen to me 50 years ago and are unlikely to listen to me now, so they are bringing  it on themselves.
