using the wrong fork, an impeachable offense

Funny Beagles should use the word tacky to describe Trump's role in the transcript, the same word several of his republican users are using to defend the prez, well it's tacky, but it doesn't amount to impeachment, like he used the wrong fork (In Trump's case more likely sopping up the gravy with his tie) at a diplomatic dinner.  It's called soliciting a bribe and many people are cooling their heels in the steel hotel because of it.  I'm not a lawyer, but I know that.

The republicans, Widdle Windsey in particular, who are now squealing that it has to be such and such a kind of crime to impreach the prez are the same guys who were snickering that it doesn't have to be a crime to impeach the prez, whatever the house considers a crime is sufficient when they were attempting to slip the noose around the neck of Slick Willie.

And in actual fact they are right, all it takes is votes.  There is no appealing your case once you are out of office.  But no sooner have I said that then I wonder.  Nobody has ever been convicted, and Trump will have this army of high priced lawyers, well probably not because he probably won't pay them.  He'll have that gnome Rudy, all it takes is one guy to file a lawsuit.

Well not very likely he will get convicted.  The reps are standing solid shoulder to shoulder, and the polls are not moving as quickly as they were.  I fear that we are riding into the valley of death.

Of course the dems want to make the reps look bad, just as the reps want to make the dems look bad. Also when the sun sets it gets dark.  How is this relevant to what is going on?  Because the prosecuter wants to make the perp look guilty that does not make him innocent.

As I recall, and I can't prove it because this was before the searchable blog, my bone of contention over the Swallow affair was that welfare would be denied to somebody because they were white, and it appears that the case was more complicated than that.

But why I wondered was Ingham County the only place in the state where you can go to sue the state.  I know in Illinois if you want to sue somebody for personal injuries you go to St Clair county because you are likely to get a better deal than elsewhere in the state.  But what is the deal with Ingham county?  Wiki says it is the county of Lansing, the state capital, and although it is the state capitol it is not the county seat.  That honor goes to Mason, and Michigan is the only state from sea to shining sea and Alaska and Hawaii where the state capitol is not the county seat of of its own capital. How do you like them apples?
