We all say we like people who stand up for what they believe in, but we don't like them so much if what they believe in is the opposite of what we believe in, so I detest Liz Cheney. But still I have to admire her a little bit, what she is doing is what the reps should have been doing long ago if they had spines.
Still I was wondering if she was just one more rat deserting the sinking ship and trying to pretend that they are heroes of conscience so I did a bit of cyber sleuthing and came across this https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/12/politics/liz-cheney-donald-trump-impeachment-vote/index.html so I guess she has been showing a spine for some time now. And as much as I detest her right-wing politics I would rather see her in the oval office than Trump. Too bad Beagles did not know about her when he cast his ballot in November.
Reading about his new hero in the article Beagles may be surprised to learn that she has a much more enlightened view on preventing the covid in contrast to Beagles' oft declared opinion (which he largely shared with Trump) that there is nothing to about the pandemic except to sit around and wait to die, which made a bit of sense but only if you live in a swamp far from the maddening crowd.
Yar I guess not all Michiganders are not plotting to kidnap the gov, many of them are parading around the statehouse with their super guns.
Well I am kind of pissing and moaning here aren't I? I should be looking on the brighter side of life. On November 6 my side came from behind and won the presidency, A couple months later we surprisingly plucked a couple of Georgia peaches to take the senate and now the once mighty Moscow Mitch is like that wizard at the end of Oz. And now I am about to get a vaccine, and though the brown brink is yet far away, it is Friday.
