through the looking glass

Halfway through reading this last post, I had to look back to the heading because I was beginning to think that the title must be Through the Looking Glass.  I think I can safely disagree with almost everything you say.

I asked you in the last post what benefits you got from your white-run Cheboygan government, and now you say well, you don't get any benefits, but you don't want anything taken away.  What do you think that a minority-led Cheboygan city council is going to take away from you?

If you peer into the capital building you will see that most of those guys are white.  Whites have proportionally way more money than minorities.  How do you justify your statement that minorities have taken over the government?

It's this phrase you keep using, 'taking over,' sounds bad, nobody wants to be taken over, but the way you use it it's hard to figure out what you mean by it.  It seems that whenever some subgroup of minorities does something that you don't like you accuse them of taking over without any facts that would justify your accusation. 

And whites also own most of the land.  I'm sure there are no minorities trying to gobble up Beaglesonia.  And I live in a big city and I see no evidence of minorities taking over the land here and  crowding me out.

And how do you justify your statement that Europeans came here because Europe was full.  Europe has way more people now than it had back in those days, and I don't think anybody, except you, thinks that it is full now. 

There may be as many Indians here now as there were when Europeans first arrived, but back then 100 percent of the people living in America were Indians, and now they are like 3 percent.  Of course we displaced them.  Slipped in between them?  Where do you get such an outlandish notion?

Again with the why can't people of European extraction come to America rather than nonwhites.  You sound like a white supremacist, and in fact I think you are.  Don't you think that white people should be the ones running the United States forever?

Actually Lincoln was harder on black people than you say.  He flat out didn't believe black people were as good as white people.  The fact is that almost all white people, abolitionists included felt that way at the time.

There have always been bad cops.  The thing is they prey on people who have no power so that the people who do have power don't get too upset about it
