moving people around

Again with the taking over.  That phrase occurs again and again in your writing.  You are always afraid some nonwhite nonstraight people will take over.  I assume Cheboygan is mostly white, that is the white people have taken over from, I presume, the Indians.  So what do the white people who run Cheboygan, because even if you are white I assume you don't run anything in Cheboygan, do to favor white people over nonwhite people?  What benefits does your white skin get you in city hall?  Do you think you would lose these benefits if Cheboygan were to become majority nonwhite?

A little internet research reveals that there are probably more Czechs in the United States then there are in the Czech Republic, so wouldn't we be happier if we were living in the Czech Republic?  I guess if we all moved back to the homeland there would be more Czech Americans than Czech Czechs.  Wouldn't we be taking over if we all moved there?

Ah this Beagles moving people around thing makes me dizzy.  Most people want to live where they live now, and despite some soreheads like you most people don't mind living with other people, even if they are in the minority where they are.  I've been reading that Doris Kearns Goodwin book about Lincoln, Team of Rivals.  Right now I am at the Lincoln Douglas debates.  Douglas is basically trying to tar Lincoln as, well, as a nigger lover.

The sad truth is that Lincoln didn't have a high opinion of black people either.  He thought they ought to have certain rights, like the right to not be a slave, but he didn't want them to have the vote or serve on juries or be able to intermarry with whites.  In fact he wanted to move them to Liberia, although he didn't know how you were going to move that many people, who didn't want to be moved, out of the country.

Likewise the eleven million illegal immigrants, there is no way they are going back to Mexico.  They are here and they are not going anywhere.

I think I have heard about this Glen Evans.  The fact is that we have a slew of these bad cops, the cops who when there is a crime they round up the usual suspects and beat the shit out of them and make them confess.  This is why some people don't like cops.
