Not quite the cutting edge

Is that a serrated blade I see?  If so, how did you make that?

Ha, ha!  Serrated blade was a feature of the cheap steak knife it came from.  You can see that the blade barely enters the handle; I'm surprised those knives have held up for so long.  I might be experimenting with other designs for my ultimate paring knife since I have plenty of material to work with.  Need more shims, though.
