Salome? Is that the same gal who had John's head brought to her on a platter? Do you reckon she had a change of heart? It's said the Redeemer had that power. And Joanna, is that the gal who ghostly electricity howls in the bones of her face, and is, like Dave, not there? What kind of high priest is that who didn't realize that Jesus would be seen walking and talking about and giving the lie to his story. The claim that it would be told among the Jews to this day doesn't mean that much since that day then was like sixty years hence.
Lot of holes in that story, don't know why people don't go all conspiracy on it. Well I think maybe they have. More disturbing is Beagle's mention of a comment on an April 2014 post. Unhelpfully he didn't mention what post so I had to dig into the archives and discover that it was the April 2. 2014 post, which was mostly about Galileo.
Perhaps this is a case for Old Dog who loves to dig into obscure things in his search for the truth, although his hardware is currently on the fritz. Speaking of hardware on the fritz, I obeyed my New Years Resolution and bought one of them talky picture phones. A Moto something, some kind of android, powered by Consumer Cellular. It's prolly not on the fritz, it's just that I don't know how to use the goddamn thing. It sits there like one of those things from 2001, a Space Odyssey. 2001? And here we are not even on the moon, just some rickety whizbang where every now and then we see the guys floating around and wonder is that thing still up? Whatever are they doing?
Anyway my phone is black and sleek and like one of those huge tablets from the movie, an enigma.
Well not quite, I have gotten my email there, and I made a phone call to my sister, who didn't pick up. She never picks up. Well I don't either. I took a photo, but I don't know where it is. I poked around, found some stuff, googled some stuff. I guess I will figure it out in time. But it's so damn small, and it has this tiny keyboard thing which you have to hit it just so. Well I'll keep you posted,
I remember people griping about reducing the container size and keeping the price the same when I was in grade school, and likely they had been doing it since way before that. But you know beer has always been 12 oz for a stubby. I notice that whiskey and wine have gone to metric and along the way reduced their contents. But we beer drinkers are surely too smart for them,
Just noticed an email from Consumer Cellular, I exceeded my allotment fiddling with the damn thing last night and now they have upped my program. I see nothing but trouble from this thing. I have invited a viper into my nest..
