 A  bit of a fade to black in The Bathroom Incident.  Did loading Old Betsy require a finger on the trigger, did it fire some other way?  And sometimes you have to spell things out exactly for me, are you saying that Baldwin could have fired the gun without pulling the trigger?

But already the story is fading fast.  Well clearly it was an accident one way or another and accidents happen.  The sad thing here is that we lost an up and coming cinematographer Halayna Hutchins, though I have to say I am not familiar with her work.  Had to look up her name, and likely she will be known from now on as the woman that Alec Baldwin shot. 

And researching all that it appears that the gun may have had a defect, or it may have been misidentified, and really does it matter that much whether or not he pulled the trigger when clearly the gun wranglers are at fault.  Well lawyers of the various parties are getting involved so who knows what will come out of this.

But the main reason the story is fading is the appearance on the national stage of that family of the year, the Crumbleys.

Hasn't been a school shooting in awhile, and as school shootings go four is not that large a number, but normally after these incidents some prominent people call out for some kind of gun control and are drowned out by the giddy gun nuts who blame lewdness in the movies or not getting right with god or something.  At least there would have been some story about the kid and had he been nuts all along or was there some incident.

But that was all blown out of the water by the parents flying the coop with four thousand bucks from the ATM to some warehouse just outside Detroit, and then when they were caught they hired a couple top notch attorneys, and where did that money come from, and how come there was not enough dough left over to cover the kid who is getting a public defender?

I still wonder where the dough is coming from, but I reckon the reason those high powered lawyers are not covering the kid is because then the lawyers would have to consider the kid's interests and not be able to throw him under the bus so the parents could skate, which appears to be what is going on.
