At Uncle Ken's suggestion, I took another look at the cow video. Actually, I think both animals are steers, but whatever. The other cow looked like he wanted to join in the fun, but the other lady was holding him back. It was then that I noticed both cows were wearing harnesses, which leads me to believe they are being trained to do something besides eat and be eaten. The fence didn't appear to be barbed wire, which is what's usually used to enclose cattle pastures. It rather looked like the poly ribbon that is sometimes used where horses are involved, because horses have a habit of running into barbed wire and injuring themselves. It doesn't take more than a rail or poly fence to keep horses in anyway, unless they are jumpers, in which case you would just need a taller fence. It seems to me, then, that what we have here is not an ordinary farm, but rather a facility that is used to train animals for some kind of performance, maybe in a circus or a rodeo.
Speaking of circuses, I don't know if Kavanaugh really did it, or if he will be confirmed in spite of, or because of it, and I'm beginning to not care. Isn't anything else happening in Congress right now? Weren't they supposed to pass the budget by today? What, no fake government shutdown this time?
I saw on the news that our man Trump has persuaded the Canadians and the Mexicans to renegotiate the NAFTA agreement. Of course he's proud of that, and will likely take credit if it comes out well, and foist the blame off on somebody else if it doesn't. I think what was wrong with the original NAFTA was that we got rid of all our tariffs but they were allowed to keep some of theirs, so maybe this will be an improvement after all. As for Red China, I still think we should just boycott the whole country. It will likely cause hardships for our local businessmen, but they brought it on themselves. Who told them to get into bed with those Commies anyway?
