I quite agree with my fellow Gage Park Owl, what's so hoity toity about a microwave? They are like fifty bucks.
Sounds like an egg and cheese omelette Beagles. I would take
exception to the American cheese though, being right across the lake
from the land of cheese and all.
Another thing Texas chili does not have besides beans is tomatoes.
When I was in Texas they were leery of all those Yankees, like myself,
moving in. Yes, there was talk of a wall. A couple weeks after I moved
there Austin had it's first snowstorm in like twenty years, mere
coincidence. But the strongest proof of Beautiful Texas going to hell
in a handbasket from all those Yankees was when the Texas Chili Parlor
added chili with beans to their menu.
Croutons? Now who is being hoity toity?
I think Old Dog needs to add fried bologna and Spam to his guy foods,
and things that come out of a can like corned beef hash, and any of the
many fine Italian delicacies that Da Chef (Boy-Ar-Dee) provides.
Here's a hot summer day guy snack, take a can of chili beans out of the
fridge and eat them straight out of the can.
I remember when they took the straight vote away from us Chicagoans,
the rationale was that too many damn dems voted that way, but now that I
think about it, how the hell did the damn dems ever let that happen?
Off to the google machine. Sure enough, the reps pushed it through in a
rare moment of power in the 90's. I don't know why the dems haven't
put it back since then. It seems similar things where going on in
Michigan vs Detroit. Apparently the thought is that many blacks just
vote for the top few candidates and walk off without voting for the
lower offices that the straight ticket would ensure.
These voter restriction laws meant to slice off a bit of the dem vote are dropping like flies across the country. Good.
Well it's a damn fool thing, why not let people vote straight ticket,
why not let a guy have as many terms as the voters want to give him,
why not let the people elect a non born citizen guy be prez if that's
what they want?
Old Dog sez: My gut feeling is that the CarrotTop will implode within the next hundred days
I have been thinking that since the day he rode down that escalator.
Maybe this latest thing with the Khan's will do him in. Most
politicians know to step away when they step into doo doo, but Trump's
gut feeling, which is the only thing he goes by, tells him to stomp
harder.
